What is Kiwanis? Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Why North Thurston Kiwanis? Our club is a group of men and women who want to make a positive impact on the North Thurston County community. What is the time commitment? Kiwanis is a volunteer organization, and your level of commitment is up to you. We meet weekly at 7:00 AM for one hour. Members are encouraged to come to meetings and participate in projects, but there are no requirements, fines, or pressure. We are all volunteers with busy lives. What will it cost? Dues are payable twice a year at $50 each. There is also a one time graduated enrollment fee. We meet for breakfast weekly, but you are not required to purchase breakfast. You may also wish to put in a "happy dollar" at the weekly meeting or buy a raffle ticket, but those are optional as well. If you were a member of a Kiwanis sponsored program (Key Club & Circle K) and join before you are 25, your dues are waived the first two years. How do I get more information? Contact Tony Salas at (360) 349-3493 or email.
